Here we are again wrapping up another year and we couldn't be more excited. We have booked two new clients for their Christmas parties and that means more fun and meeting new people.
Seems that tapas are going to be a hit for these two functions and why not? Tapa is certainly the essence of eating while drinking, which encompasses Christmas parties.
This holiday season I'm going to make a killer red wine reduction, reducing eight bottles of wine down to 500 ml. All the stock is going to be fresh out of the garden and fragrant. I will certainly be basing one dish at each party around this sauce; really looking forward to it.
Last year I didn't book a New Years Party and am hoping to this year, I could make it alot of fun cleaving Champaign at midnight, woohoo.
If we can help with your Christmas event please contact me and we'll set up a consult; until then bon appetit.

Harvesting Taste
Now that the weather is cooling we can certainly take solice if the fact that we now have a huge assortment of fresh vegetables to choose from. Try and coook with all the ingredients that we are able to use from the garden and from the farmers markets. I'm quite excited making new menu ideas that come to mind picking one fresh fruit or vegetable as a focal point. I have a large crab apple tree in the back that have these amazing crab apples adorning it. This is going to be fun inventing some dishes from this fruit. I'll keep you posted as to what I've come up with...
Cheers and happy cooking.
